I am a mother of four children: two boys, aged 12 and 10, and two girls, aged 8 and 3. My 10-year-old son was burned when a tent fell on him, and I cannot treat him because I don’t have the money. My 3-year-old daughter, who was traumatized by a nearby bombing, still needs diapers. My husband has a leg wound from an injury he sustained during the genocide.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer and was receiving treatment before the genocide, but I haven’t seen a doctor since the beginning of the war. I need to follow up with a private doctor, and she will diagnose and prescribe treatment for me. I am suffering from a lot of pain. I really need treatment to be able to support my family, as I am the only one who can support me.

Eight people live in a tent, including her parents. Her father has a heart condition that requires treatment. We have been displaced seven times, and we survived a school bombing when the illegal entity targeted an UNRWA school where we were sheltering. My children need clean food and drink.

What They’ve Lost ️ Family of 6 displaced six times—their home is destroyed, and still in debt Four children facing hunger and malnutrition No income—Hiam lost his job due to war No food, no belongings, no stability Living in fear and desperation, trying to protect what remains What Your Donation Will Provide ✅ Bags of flour and food to fight malnutrition ✅ Emergency supplies for a displaced family ✅ Clothing and daily essentials for the children ✅ Dignity, safety, and stability after devastating loss

Dear Friends,

Thank you so much for your generous donations. The support we have received truly made a difference.

Unfortunately, the situation for Gaza has just gotten worse, and Hiyam’s family is facing an emergency. I just received word from her that their location is increasingly dangerous — the tents of displaced people in the area are being attacked randomly. If we can raise at least $600, though, the family might be able to move somewhere safer.

Internet blackouts have been frequent, even after the inital damage earlier this month was repaired. For many, including Hiyam’s family, communication access is still limited. This makes it so much harder for them to advocate for their families, communicate with doctors and emergency responders, and obtain vital news. All of this makes Hiyam’s situation — as a displaced mother in Khan Yunis, now surrounded by bombing — all the more dire.

Thank you so much for your support and for reading this message. Please share their story and help us get the family to safety.
